Ancora House is our specialist inpatient unit for young people who are having difficulties with their thoughts, feelings or behaviour and need a short stay in hospital.
The Assessment and Outreach Team (AOT) is responsible for all admissions to Ancora House covering the Cheshire and Merseyside region.
We welcome referrals from our Tier CAMHS teams, 16-19 services, adult home crisis treatment and psychiatric liaison teams. In addition we also accept referrals from other Tier 4 inpatient services.
